Technical capacity for
complex BC work
you can't staff.

Complex migrations, integrations, and hands-on Business Central development — as white-label technical capacity for BC implementation partners, or engaged directly by companies who want that same expertise without going through an intermediary.

Where BC practices hit a ceiling

Consolidations

Multi-entity consolidations with historical ledger preservation tie up senior developers for months — or get deferred until they become a crisis.

Legacy Migrations

Migrations from custom ERPs, AS400, Sage, QuickBooks, or homegrown ODBC systems require depth most teams don't keep on staff full-time.

Integrations

Integration projects requiring .NET, Azure Functions, and REST API architecture fall outside the AL-only skill set of most BC developers.

Escalations

Emergency escalations — performance issues, costing failures, data integrity problems — need someone who can move at the database level immediately.

What makes this arrangement different

01

Finance + Technical in One

A finance degree combined with 10+ years of BC development means I can engage directly with CFOs and controllers on costing, ledger integrity, and audit requirements — not just the development team.

02

Purpose-Built Tooling

A production-tested suite of reusable frameworks: an integration engine, SQL migration tooling, NAV-to-BC upgrade tools, and a logging layer — built across real engagements, not assembled for a pitch.

03

No Competitive Threat

I don't pursue managed services contracts or compete for your clients. I'm technical capacity. Ongoing support relationships stay with you. Referrals go back to you.

What I do

Migration & Consolidation

  • NAV → BC upgrades and migrations (on-premises and SaaS)
  • Multi-entity consolidation with ledger preservation
  • Entry number conflict resolution across acquired entities
  • ODBC/OLE (any ERP) → BC → BC SaaS migration
  • Master record consolidation — GL, vendors, customers, items
  • GP, Sage, QuickBooks, AS400, homegrown ERP migration

Development & Platform

  • AL development — all complexity levels
  • BC API design and implementation
  • AppSource app development and architecture
  • AppSource compliance — affixes, AppSourceCop, multi-project structure
  • PTE vs. AppSource strategy and migration app architecture
  • AL-Go / GitHub Actions CI/CD — artifact signing, delivery targets, ALDoc
  • Logging and observability frameworks
  • Code review and AI-assisted dev QA

Integrations

  • ConnectWise (deep)
  • Salesforce — AL and PowerShell automation
  • Expensify, Bill.com, Vena, SpecRight (REST)
  • PNC, Bank of America — ACH and lockbox formats
  • Azure Functions and middleware architecture
  • OLE/ODBC from any source

Functional Domains

  • Costing — adjust cost, methods, direct/indirect
  • Fixed assets development and enhancement
  • Budgeting and allocation
  • Warehousing implementation and development
  • Dimensions and GL schema
  • Solution architecture assurance

Automation & DevOps

  • AL-Go pipeline management — multi-environment, concurrency controls
  • AppSource delivery automation — version selection, go-live promotion
  • Artifact signing and environment-aware deployment
  • BC object and environment management
  • PowerShell — general-purpose systems automation
  • Git repository automation and XML processing tooling

Industry Experience

  • Financial services and insurance
  • Distribution and trade
  • Manufacturing and inventory-driven operations
  • Service industry verticals
  • Multi-entity and PE-backed consolidations

Frameworks built for this work

Production-tested frameworks developed and refined across multiple client engagements. Engagements that draw on them move faster and require less remediation.

Integration Layer

IntegrationEngine

Reusable integration framework for connecting BC to third-party platforms. Authentication, transformation, error handling, and retry logic as shared infrastructure — not rebuilt per engagement.

Data Migration Suite

SQL-Import + DataMover

SQL-based migration tooling handling extraction from any ODBC/OLE source, entry number renumbering, collision resolution across entities, and full sub-ledger preservation.

Upgrade Tooling

ALUpgradeTools

Purpose-built for NAV-to-BC migrations — object analysis, C/AL to AL conversion assistance, and validation frameworks for moving legacy codebases through the transition.

Observability

LoggingApp

Custom logging and observability framework for BC. Structured event capture, error tracing, and audit trail support beyond what native BC telemetry exposes.

Data Layer

sqlcore + SQLSearch

Core SQL connectivity library and search tooling for BC. Direct data-layer access patterns for migration, reporting, and integration work where standard AL table access is insufficient.

Delivery Pipeline

AL-Go + AppSource Framework

Full AL-Go pipeline setup covering multi-environment CI/CD, artifact signing, AppSource delivery targets with version and go-live controls, ALDoc documentation generation, and concurrency-safe deployment — including the separate migration app pattern that keeps AppSource packages clean.

When partners reach out

01

PE-backed client acquiring multiple companies — needs consolidated financials with clean audit trails and historical ledger preservation across entities with entry number conflicts.

02

NAV-to-BC migration with a large legacy C/AL codebase — needs object-by-object analysis, conversion strategy, and validation before cutover.

03

Complex legacy ERP migration from a custom or homegrown system with no existing NAV/GP pathway and non-standard data schema.

04

Integration project requiring .NET, Azure Functions, or REST API depth — or one where the same integration pattern needs to be reused across multiple clients.

05

Performance emergency or costing failure requiring database-level investigation on short notice — a client is down and needs resolution today.

06

Architecture review of work delivered by another developer — validating that what was built will hold up under client load, financial audit, and long-term maintainability standards.

Engagement models

Common questions from partners

Will you compete for our clients?

No. I don't pursue managed services contracts or ongoing client relationships. I'm technical capacity for the specialized work — support relationships and referrals stay with you.

Can we present the work as our own?

Yes — white-label is one of four relationship structures I work under, alongside co-delivery, subcontractor, and referral. Which one fits depends on how visible you want me to be to the client.

How is billing structured?

Time & materials (billed through you or direct), a deferred retainer, timeboxed blocks, or project-based pricing with defined scope — see Engagement Models above for the full breakdown.

How fast can you start on an emergency escalation?

I keep short-notice and emergency slots open. Typical response is within 24 hours, with engagement starting within 1–2 days.

What migration sources do you support?

Any ODBC/OLE source — NAV, GP, Sage, QuickBooks, AS400, or a homegrown ERP — migrating into Business Central, including on-premises to SaaS.

Do you work within our existing CI/CD setup?

Yes — AL-Go and GitHub Actions pipelines, artifact signing, and AppSource delivery targets are all part of the standard tooling. I can also help set that up if it isn't in place yet.

Tell me what you're working with.

Email with your scenario and timeline. I'll respond within 24 hours with a direct answer on whether I can help and how.
